POR-15 Epoxy Putty is an incredible epoxy putty which bridges holes in all types of structural materials. It's so strong you can drill or tap it , yet gentle enough that you can apply it with your bare fingers and is workable with bare hands and mixes like clay ..  SAND POR-15 Epoxy Putty after 20 minutes or within 4 hours of application; otherwise sanding will be more difficult due to POR-15 Epoxy's  incredible density and strength.

Surface Preparation:

Remove all foreign material from surrounding areas. If any wax, oils, grease are present, remove them with POR-15® Marine Clean (do not use solvent-based preps). If Epoxy Putty is intended to cover rusted areas, first paint area with POR-15® Rust Preventive Paint. Apply Epoxy Putty to POR-15® coating without sanding if POR-15® coating is less than 6 hours old. If POR-15® coating is more than 6 hours old, sand surface lightly with 300 grit paper, then apply EPOXY PUTTY .. For perfectly smooth finish, apply a skim coat of StraightLine Body Filler and sand to desired result.

Application :

Step 1: Place the 2 bars side-by-side and cut what you need .. Then mix the two parts together by hand until thoroughly blended ..

Step 2: Mix together and add a very small amount of water to reach the consistency you desire ..

Step 3: Mix for at least one minute until both components blend into one another ..

Step 4: Apply the mixed paste to repair. The paste is useable until it begins to harden, usually after 5 to 10 minutes.
